New Model for Non-Spherical Particles Drag Coefficients in Non-Newtonian Fluid

The settlement drag coefficient of non-spherical particles (SDCNPs) is a crucial parameter in the field petroleum engineering. Accurately predicting SDCNPs fluid essential to selection and design proppant hydraulic fracturing scheme. Although many models for anticipating have been proposed, none them can be adopted non-Newtonian (NNF) Newtonian (NF). In investigation, NF NNF are studied experimentally, anticipation mode spherical (SDCSPs) different fluids (including Newton, Herschel-Bulkley power law) proposed. On this basis, shape depiction circularity introduced develop SDCNPs. results exhibit that predicted values model perfectly align with experimental values, average relative errors 5.70%, 6.24% 6.72%, respectively. accurately describe behavior (NSPs) provide basis application NSPs
